Milani designed the new generation of the TruTool TSC 200 slat cleaner for TRUMPF: a compact, robust power tool built for durability, ergonomic handling, and efficient use in demanding industrial environments
Challenge: making increasing performance manageable
As a high-tech company, TRUMPF develops manufacturing solutions in machine tools, laser technology, electronics, and power tools. With the new generation of professional slat cleaners, requirements increased significantly: higher laser performance demands reliable, process-safe cleaning, while tools must withstand intensive daily use.
The challenge was clear: translate growing technical performance into a product that remains intuitive to use, reduces physical strain, and improves efficiency in everyday operation.

The product design of the TruTool TSC 200 was consistently developed with a focus on durability, robustness, and user-friendliness. For example, the cleaning roller no longer needs to be disassembled—reducing effort and saving time in operation. An integrated resting feature adds further control and safety in everyday use.
