FROM THE PROBLEM TO THE SOLUTION PROTOTYPE
Design Thinking
For concentrated ingenuity: Uncover unmet customer needs and bring unique products and services quickly onto the market with design thinking.
Innovative solutions for complex problems
For more than 10 years, Milani has used design thinking to spur innovation processes within companies and has rapidly delivered new solutions and approaches. Our experience has shown that design thinking is suitable for implementing both incremental and radical innovation in terms of products, services, and business models. Design thinking processes are interactive and more visually oriented than traditional approaches. They are ideal for making highly complex relationships both visible and tangible.
Design thinking is more than just an innovation method. As a fundamental approach to generating creative solutions to complex problems, it allows our clients to establish an innovation-friendly climate in their companies over the long term. Through an interdisciplinary, user-centric approach, we break through silos, encourage knowledge exchange, and enable organizations to act with greater agility.
User-centered innovation
In design thinking, the customer needs, economic success potential, and feasibility within the company remain at the forefront. Successful solutions are located at the intersection of these three dimensions: they are customer-oriented, marketable, and innovative.
The five steps of design thinking
The basic design thinking process is comprised of five steps and is referred to as a micro-cycle. The journey is the destination: solutions are tested immediately and continually improved.
A structured process from problem to prototype
Milani guides multidisciplinary teams through a clearly structured, iterative design thinking process. We work together with our clients to determine the needs of the consumer, rapidly turn ideas into tangible prototypes or solution simulations, and test these prototypes and simulations directly with end customers.
Customer feedback makes it possible to immediately adapt and optimize concepts. This allows companies to accelerate the development of products, services, and business models and avoid wasting investments.
Design Thinking Sprints
Develop innovative solutions for your customers - quickly and effectively. Based on your company's specific challenge, we offer various sprint packages.
The Key to Success
Design Thinking – the handbook
In collaboration with the University of St.Gallen, Milani developed the Design Thinking Handbook. The authors comprehensibly and systematically explain how you can integrate design thinking into your daily business practice.
