Product Design & App Interaction Concept for Sandy – the smart baby monitor
In close collaboration with the startup Dodoki, Milani developed the design of the MySandy smart baby monitor, the interaction concept as well as the look & feel of the connected app – and accompanied the entire implementation process to the finished product. The result is an intuitive and playful digital solution that delights both parents and children.
The MySandy baby monitor won the Red Dot Design Award for best Product Design 2021.
Intuitive and playful product and interaction design
The smart baby monitor with room temperature sensor and HD night vision camera gives parents certainty about the well-being of their baby and ensures relaxed hours. All important functions can be activated easily with one click via app and touchscreen.
However, Sandy is more than just a baby monitor. As a sweet companion, Sandy grows with the child. In the beginning, the adjustable nightlight chases away bedtime monsters. Later, Sandy transforms into a portable audio system and lets kids discover music and exciting stories on their own.
Both the software and the devices are 100% developed and assembled in Switzerland.
