Innovation "in the wall": Feller SNAPFIX® sets new industry standards

Feller AG, the leading Swiss technology partner for the electrical installation industry, recognized a long-standing market need and sought to simplify the complex Swiss installation process, which has hardly changed in the last 70 years. The traditional mounting system is cumbersome, inflexible and no longer meets today's building technology requirements.

Working closely together, Feller and Milani have tailored the new SNAPFIX® mounting system to the needs of electricians, electrical installers and planners. The result is a product that fundamentally simplifies work processes in the industry while supporting the way electricians work.

100% user friendly design

With SNAPFIX®, Feller sets new standards in the market. The new, patented mounting system impresses with its user-friendliness and sustainability. For the first time, functions, such as switches, socket outlets and smart technologies, can be easily removed and replaced "from the front of the wall", thanks to the red adapter.  Instead of 92 different mounting plates, there are now only 9. The system drastically reduces material waste, saves up to 50% of installation time and even up to 80% when changing from switches to dimmers, and cuts down costs. The ordering process is also significantly simplified.

Furthermore, Milani has transformed an inconspicuous mounting system into a sophisticated design object. The striking red adapter is an eye-catcher on any construction site and ensures clear visual brand recognition. Red lettering on the mounting plate underscores the premium look, while the pictograms help electricians with proper installation. Radical rethinking has resulted in a compelling, user-friendly system that offers benefits to everyone in the value chain: from electricians, planners, building owners, and wholesalers - and ultimately the end user.

Feller AG is not only setting new standards "in the wall", but also "on the wall". Together with Milani, Feller simultaneously launched a revised design line for a new generation of switches, sockets and smart technologies. Here, too, the focus was on the user-centricity: Milani conducted extensive market research to tailor the new design line to the needs of architects, interior designers and end users. It became obvious that there was a clear need for contemporary design, minimalism and durability.
