The new brand identity for medtech startup Medaxis reflects its innovative use of micro waterjet technology for gentle debridement. It reduces patient pain and radically shortens treatment times. By depicting the topic of wound treatment in an unconventional and intelligent way, Medaxis positions itself as a distinctive startup in the medtech industry.
The bold image concept developed by Milani deliberately abstains from using traditional wound imagery and applies elements found in nature, such as peeling tree barks and moss. This highlights the natural regeneration process of wounds through Medaxis' gentle debridement method. FIn addition, the identity-defining blue elements embody the groundbreaking micro waterjet technology. The entire look and feel conveys the company’s mission to improve the quality of life of patients.
