Challenge: A Consistent Product System Within Technical Constraints

TRUMPF power tools are used worldwide in demanding work environments, from sheet metal processing and facade construction to HVAC applications. Professionals often work under time pressure, wearing gloves, with limited visibility, or in challenging working positions. Under these conditions in particular, tools need to perform precisely, reliably, and with a high degree of control.

At the same time, key technical parameters were predefined. The integrated motors are based on specified third-party components, setting clear geometric constraints. The challenge was to create a consistent user experience and recognizable product identity across different tool types without compromising technical requirements.

Approach: Ergonomic Tools for Professional Use

Milani coordinated the motor, housing, grip areas, and tool head to ensure intuitive handling in everyday professional use.
